Like it CAN matter but they employed it ton late. If I was a billionaire PAC funder i wouldn’t spend a dime on TV (even old people are online mostly) and just dump it into targeted digital and lots and lots of door knockers and phone banking. Ground game is far more important

It's reached a over saturation point where it just doesn't matter. It's better / more efficient for campaigns to have the money because they do the heavy lifting of door knocks and getting people to polls. A TV ad doesn't do that.

Brutalism really works well in Latin America where you can pair it with greenery all year round. The north is problematic because of that also the seasonal freeze thaw that exposes structural wear and ultimately a shorter building life expectancy.

I think shut the admin up in refineries for a couple of weeks - just go all on factories, railways, data centres, electrical nodes, then resume. It’s not as though refineries can repair quickly anyway

This really only applies to the US auto market. This simply doesn’t exist elsewhere ie the dealers locking in their cartel status. That said manufacturing are working around them in US markets where they can via subsidiaries of Volvo like Polestar.

So this would mean if Le Pen had an opponent as prime minister she can’t veto a budget or any other law. And she wouldn’t actually be in charge of any cabinet departments other than the military and the foreign affairs department. So all primary law implementation is on the PM and the rest of cab.

Unless their own party has parliament. The Prime Minister of France is essentially in charge of everything domestic. If they have opposite parties what happens is the president solely concerns themselves with foreign affairs and the military.

Isn’t this all sort of moot if the federal parliament and 7/10 provinces don’t agree to constitutional amendment. I really doubt they’d agree to it especially if indigenous people raise hell, and / or the referendum results are narrow.
