Being an adult is so weird. I was thinking of a college friend who I hadn’t heard from in a while. Nothing on her socials, etc. Decided to google her and discovered she passed almost exactly a year ago. Heartbreaking and even worse that I didn’t know. I am SO happy to FINALLY reveal the fic that took me away from my other two ongoing works. I loved this prompt and I love this fic. It consumed my every waking hour for months and IMO it was worth it. It’s some of my angstiest and funniest work yet. It also felt like a leap in my writing skills.
