Probably because when it came out it was recieved horribly. But its an all-time cult classic. Probably my favorite movie. The issue was there were 3 endings and they were assigned randomly to theatres, which is a cool idea. But really only 1 ending was the true one. On streaming youll see them all

It wasnt about his behavior its about the terminology. "Junkie" is derogatory to people. You dont change language you should use on a case by case basis. You dont deadname or misgender trans criminals. You dont say "illegal" for one criminal migrant. Apply terms equally or dont pretend to be liberal
