Not counting the painting above the light switch in the basement, The Neverending Story freaked me out. Also, an Unsolved Mysteries episode had 6 year old me convinced Jack the Ripper was hiding in our bathroom. Specifically in the gap between the sink and the shower wall/access to the pipes.
