A common name in field guides that's even better: SHAUN the sheep nudibranch. Also it is extremely tiny, under 1cm #InverteFest

Super fun painting from last year featuring 4 types of cuttlefish (and 5 types of crabs, I can't escape them they're too fun to draw)

Having a lot of impostor syndrome today, so I made a goldeneye sketch trying to focus on accuracy- it didn't help like I hoped it would, but here it is anyway

@abiggaymarket.bsky.social in a repurposed Victorian era church will forever be my favorite aesthetic. I got an amazing wood block print trade, and some stickers for my derby helmet. I fucking love Troy and this community SO MUCH

Some new sticker designs in the works :)

vinyl sticker design features a brown chicken in derby skates, a jammer star, and green accented pads

Vinyl sticker design featuring orange chicken in thigh-high pleasers, holding pink feathers, and trixie mattel-esque eye makeup. Sticker text reads "Chicken Strip" in theater header style letters

Vinyl sticker design featuring two bunnies "loafing" in a bread loaf pan. Bunnies have icing in a hatched pattern across their backs for the "Hot Cross Buns" punchline

Bats! NY has both tree bats (up top) which migrate south for the winter, and cave bats (bottom) that hibernate during the winters. All NY bats are insectivorous 🐛🦇 #bats #ecology #naturalillustration #watercolor #indiaink

I hate taking rest days and I hate even more that they actually work and I can get things done the next day. On a related note- line art for Herons of NY is done! Now to start the color... #lineart #watercolor #naturalillustration #herons #birding

These are some of the owls in NYS. There are more, so I am hoping to make a sequel painting at some point.
