New Pokemon games suck, for clarity. Today, I'm still fond of gens 1-3, and 5. And I love Pokemon ROM hacks. Just...CB made me realize how much Pokemon has failed to grow as a franchise and how lifeless the newer gens feel. And I never woulda played CB if I didn't like looking for new shit to play!

I have a really diverse taste in games and I think more people should expand their own tastes. Every single game genre has been through slumps - play more games! Try something new! I thought creature collectors were getting stale until I played Cassette Beasts and realized Pokemon just sucks.

I find it depressing that there is this concept I’m seeing that somehow video games are boring now or that there just aren’t any good games or that we need to go back to the good old days. I was there in the good old days, I’m good here. There are thousands of games. THOUSANDS. Go explore!

The lopsided leveling is making me laugh but also these are neat picks for a Hoenn team. Manectric is such an underappreciated mon. It's not even as bad as most of the other Hoenn trash mons, so I never got why more people don't put it on their teams!

It was my first Zelda experience as well - it's what got me into them! Odd thing because I think if I replayed it today I would hate the sailing, but as a kid it really resonated with me just sailing from isle to isle and kicking back. Loved the idea behind the Temple of the Ocean King too!

I lurked on Twitter for years and this app just feels way more approachable in general idk why. It's your account tho. Do what u want with it. Don't worry about annoying people by being active. Sounds like a non issue for someone to get upset over anyway

I wish the DS version expanded Nera more so the decision wasn't so lopsided. Maybe added a new segment where she travels with you. Like how do you seriously get to this point in the game and NOT pick Bianca? Debora is even less fleshed out sadly

Yea for sure. Hoping this isn't a Threads situation and the activity actually sticks around. Would suck if everyone just walked back to twitter

You have Tales in your bio too?! Double follow 🗣
