It’s very Final Fantasy inspired. Offer some extra powers for everyone (NPCs included), and a dangerous interconnected environment called the Blighted Land and Blight Dungeon. It has crystals and will have vehicles…at least if I can sort out some rules for vehicles that don’t over complicate things.

Right now my group is nearing a break point for our Star Wars “Dark Strider” campaign. And I’m up next to GM. Normally I would give my group options on what to play, but they always hum-&-haw over things only to just let me decide anyway. As such I’ve been working heavily on a campaign setting.

So for the past few months I’ve had to put my Star Wars d20 rules on hold. This has been partly do to needing to avoid burnout. But the other reasons was that cleaning a middle school during the summer is tiring. The other is that I had to start preparing to run a Daggerheart game.

I can make props, that I am pretty decent at doing even without a 3D printer to fudge my way through things. But aside from that, I’m all thumbs. So if anyone knows where I could get some patterns for a foam made “Springtrap” FNAF costume that they can point me to that would be great. #cosplay

Now we can 3D print a costume, I did find something for that, but it defeats the purpose of him learning to do this on his own. Why on his own? Because we can’t do everything for him. As we told him, we will support him in what he wants to do, but he has to do the work for what he wants.

So, my son wants to make his own “Springtrap” costume. He’s 13 with ADHD & is in the spectrum, and has no idea what he’s doing. His main hang up in this venture is that he can’t sit and learn how to make a foam costume like this without step-by-step instructions. Of which he hasn’t found any.

I manage to loose him and in the process unlock my ability to speak again, and start looking around to find all the systems and capabilities that got stripped out of me. Weird dream, especially when I end up in a carnival within the base because the people can't just leave.

I spent most the dream trying to avoid people, sneaking around and using a non-lethal concussion setting with my arm cannon to deal with threats. Then I run across some hulking General who picks me up in one hand and demands to know how I escaped. I get free somehow, and flee with him chasing me.

Ok, so I had a dream that was par the course for me, but odd in that I haven't been thinking about Mega-man at all. So, in the dream I'm Mega-man, but a cyborg version and trapped in a military base, stripped of armor and any capabilities except the buster cannon.

Basically I have been too physically tired to want to think past doing something relaxing like just playing a video game. I also saved up enough money to get a filament based 3D printer, an Anycubic Kobra X. As such I have been lost in 3D printing a Highland Cow sponge holder…

So, the past couple of weeks I’ve been dragging when it comes to doing any writing on my Star Wars d20 RPG rules, or working on my Daggerheart campaign. You see during the summer, we swap to day time schedules. And summer cleaning of a school is very different from normal days.

Sort of like Death and Time of Discworld, which gave me the through to start. Forces that existed beyond what the gods were, and were suppressed by the gods. And with the gods gone maybe those forces, who do not seek worship only to do the duty they were meant for, would return.

that the primal forces that existed before them would return, but because the gods gave shapes to things, the primal forces themselves would take shapes when needed. An avatar when they need to interact with beings, but one influenced by the minds and beliefs of people.

So, something I'm curious about with @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social world in #CriticalRole is the state of primal forces? Not just elemental beings, but forces beyond the gods that were removed. I've always had a belief in these games that if the gods were to vanish...

The past home owner(s) apparently really liked lava rocks and filled those bins with a mix of dirt and lava rocks. There's at least 2 inches of lava rocks mixed with dirt. I had to use my pressure washer to essentially cut into ground and get the rocks exposed and moved.

So, I've been on vacation this week. So far, I have done a lot of prepwork for a project I've been working up to...outside. I've been meaning to get rid of these rotting planter boxes that were built next to the driveway. I've pulled the last 3 bushes from it that were once part of a set of 6.
