I’ve been with a couple of carbon offset programs for my vehicle gasoline. I just found a great Canadian option – Planetair - planetair.ca/en/ One year’s carbon for all three vehicles OFFSET! What more can each of us do? Happy Thanksgiving!

The other side of the coin. The other day I talked about planting in sand soil. This is basically a garden done on subsoil - much more challenging, even, then clay, but we picked the right plants and the garden is doing beautifully. Don’t amend the soil. Just picked the plants that suit the soil.

This is the fascinating #BoogieWoogieBug, (Beech Blight Aphid). Amazing Ecosystem around it. Dance when disturbed/pee honeydew (sugar): produce Sooty Mould/fed on by #HoneydewEater fungus. Sallow moths also feed on honeydew: all may be lost because of the new #BeechLeafDisease.
