American in Sweden here… converting to NHC is gonna be painful for Drs, nurses, etc . US system is built on expensive education and higher wages. MDs paid more normal wages in national heath care systems. So some savings is likely lower wages + benefits of central procurement of drugs, med supplies

American in Sweden here. They mail us ballots. We show up at the school, office, or wherever anytime over a week or so to vote. They check our ids, we go home. It’s an example of a country that wants to serve all of its citizens.

Had an idea yesterday. Give every team’s GM 10 dice in a cup, final 8 teams (teams with 1 or more playoff series win) get 5 dice. Set the whole first round (or just top 14 picks) using the sum of the dice. Highest total gets first pick, lowest gets 30. Break ties with head to head dice rolls.

We played 2 HOFers and Lavine 30+mpg to get here. The kids played well enough to win last night while Russ had 7 TOs. Keegan and Sabonis haven’t played 1m together due to injuries. We have 12 wins cuz we suck. We traded none of the big contracts cuz no one wants them. We tried for 50 games.

Look at it this way, if the kings never signed DS, would you have been happy with a Keon and JV for Hunter trade last off season coming off of a 4th place 6MOY and all the value Cle gave up for him… yeah, probably. Hopefully he can get his numbers and shooting back up.

Technically we got the Cavs 2nd (in the 50s?), the difference between Hunter and Schroeder’s value as players and the cutting of ties with a huge off season failure for 3+ months of Keon. As a UFA the Kings already sabotaged his value in any trade by not signing an extension in the offseason

An admission of failure for Perry 1. #1 FA target gone 2. ⁠traded JV for Saric. Dumped Saric at a cost of 2 2RP 3. ⁠didn’t sign Keon (not sure he wanted to), messed w/him and trades him as an UFA. Hunter is good player and we need more like him, but man, Perry wasted the offseason.

Kings fan here: it’s baffling to all of us. Keon also seems to be a good dude. But we also see that this situation has sucked some of the life out of his game and there’s no way he’s resigning as an UFA (nor should he)… so we begrudgingly hope we get something of value for Keon.
