Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 26/04/2026Listening to The Impressions while cooking breakfast for my family beats anything else i could be doing right now. “Keep on Pushing!” 010 1
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 20/04/2026There is something incredibly special about sitting across a table from a dinner guest, exchanging poetry in two different languages, and reveling in the love and beauty of each other’s words. 000 0
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 25/03/2026Oof. Well that stuff definitely happens. I hope it wasn’t too bad. 110 1
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 24/03/2026We are also a generation trained to question and cut through conditioning. I was raised and raised myself to trust no one. The fact that so many of us despite our very human mistakes would fall into the same systems that we derided in our youth enrages me. 010 1
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 28/01/2026That’s what I’m thinking. Then you get to set the parameters. 010 1
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 28/01/2026I think it may depend on the venue/topic. Anything mainstream or vanilla I’d contact the lit orgs because it’s one of the times in the year when they have budget to spend on these types of events. If it’s anything fun I’d crowdfund or go with entrance fees. The people want something new. 110 1

Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 14/02/2025Or does that law cease to be law if there is no potential punishment assigned to not following its precepts? What is the line between a “natural” presupposition amongst rational animals that makes us who we are and a law designed and enforced by the state to establish order amongst us? 010 1
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 14/02/2025If a law is a good law (meaning its intent and impact is the betterment of all beings) then do we need the threat or punishment of incarceration to make us follow that law? 010 1

Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 13/01/2025Hello! As a primarily free verse poet I don’t think rhyme is necessary. However, because of the musicality inherent in the ways that we speak, sometimes rhyme happens and makes our poems sing. 030 3
Sean Felix @seanfelix75.bsky.social · 29/12/2024Fantastic workshop! I love the prompts and close reading. I can’t wait to edit the poem I wrote. I think it has legs. Thank you! 152 5
