The public has spoken. The winner has been honored.

Please settle an argument between me and my girlfriend... Which is funnier: This picture of me as a 12-year-old altar boy, or the time she got high and tried to draw Thomas the Tank Engine from memory?

People on Facebook: Come on y'all, just leave Ed Sheeran alone! Ed's family: Alright bet

Today I pulled this out of the dryer exhaust vent in the house I just moved across the country to live in, if anyone is wondering why its been a minute since the last video.

I did not know it was possible to make Winnie the Pooh merchandise with a vibe so truly rancid

Logged on to make a post about Dolly Parton, only to see that we lost Tim Curry too. Always strive to do and be the most good that you can, and give your full self to every artistic pursuit in your life no matter how odd or offbeat, that's all I have to say. I'm going back to bed man, this sucks.

I'm lost for words. The fact that I had to take such a long upload gap to deal with a bunch of harrowing life bs, that I put my faith in my community to still be there for me when I got back, and to have that faith rewarded with far and away my best numbers EVER? Thank you. That's all I can say.

This list of #1 hits is sad, man. Pop music right now is the same as everything else in the world... the top 1% jockeying for position with their most mediocre work. Even the one new star, Ella Langley, makes the least institutionally challenging music of anyone who's ever risen as fast as she did.

I get that the YouTube algorithm has worked out by now that I'm neurodivergent, and that I've held onto some of my childhood interests more than most people my age tend to... but there is a point at which some of these recommendations start to feel insulting.

Bad news: I'm gonna need a few more days to finish the 2025 video. Good news: I'm not in the hospital anymore!👍

There are many bad things about being born in 1997, but one genuinely nice thing is that I feel like I was born into the sweet spot of tech accessiblity. As a kid, I learned how to use modern tech for work, without it being SO automated that I'm just a passive user with no understanding of process.

The comments on Sabrina Carpenter's Met Gala dress... ...yeah America's cultural vibe shift is 100% here, it's impossible to deny.

Sometimes I forget just what a large percentage of this site is people reposting shit that would be passé even by the standards of a 2011 Facebook post

Someone on my community tab asked me why my Worst List isn't out yet, despite it being near completion for a while now. I like the response I wrote, and I want to share it. Thank you all for your continued patience and understanding.

Seriously, look at this list of the Billboard #1 hits of 2026. This is an interesting list which tells a fascinating cultural story, and yet if a person on the street had literally heard of NONE of these songs besides the one from the 90s, that would be less surprising to me than the alternative.

Lmao rip bozo If GenAI has literally ANY future as a consumer product, it will only be in the realm of text & still images... the costs of on-demand AI video generation (legal, monetary, energy & data consumption, etc) are far too high to be make it feasible, and that's not even touching on ethics.

Hey so I know this is probably a joke, but for the sake of those trying to make an honest living in the industry as well as the overall integrity of the American media ecosystem, let's not say shit like this, alright?

Future generations are going to see anti-homeless architecture the same way we view "Whites Only" water fountains now: a defining symptom of a fundamentally sick era, an icon of a barbaric society in denial of it's nature.

Here is every song that is currently locked for, or has (imo) a decent chance to make, the Billboard 2026 Year-End Hot 100, now that we're about a third of the way through. A song's number shows where it is now, relative to the other songs on this list.

Like if I were to predict, I'd guess that Round 2 of the Billboard Year-End #78 poll will look something like this, and that is a fucking INSANE lineup for only the second round

Lately, I've wondered why Mr Enter, of all people, is basically the only guy doing cartoon analysis whose videos I can still sit through. And honestly? It's because he's a bizarre person, a loose cannon who paradoxically has more integrity than most people do. Here's a long-ass thread about it.

I've probably mentioned this before, but here's a pretty succinct summary I just wrote for why pop music felt so deflated, lifeless and stagnant last year.

Not gonna lie, a person who has a checkmark next to the name of their media analysis YouTube channel being capable of leaving a comment like this? Yeah, that's a bit unsettling.
