And the commit has grown quite a bit denser.

As expected, commits have also gone up, and now the vast majority include a reference to Claude helping with the commit, about 85% of the current commits this month.

/color and /rename are great for seeing everything active at once. But as soon as I want to look at code or run a manual command, this gets clunky. Is there an app that lets me do this??? - see activity - switch fast (shortcuts) - get notified - run commands w/o session exit - explore repo files

Finally got Claude to do a naming exercise with me without giving me a bunch of tech bro shit. These are some high-quality names.

Going live in about an hour to build out the new podcast website. Let's see if I can get this thing knocked out in under 60 minutes!

Is there a word for further enshittifying an already enshittified experience? Just searched "electric dryer" on Costco, filtered for appliances, and sorted price low to high. Of the first 18 results, only 5 were properly-sorted appliances, non-sponsored. That's less than 30% of the results.
What the actual fuck are you doing, Costco?

It's time to crank up the volume! 🔊 I've been quiet recently, but I've been plugging away, bringing way too many different projects to life. I'm coming back here with most of my social time, while spinning up new segments. Like Uselessly, which I'll kick things off live a little later today.

Found a little time to edit some photos from late last year. I've been using @unsplash.com for web projects for years. Last year, I decided to properly contribute. I was just shy of adding 100 photos in 2025, which helped me find the photography spark again. Aiming to do even more this year! 📸

@raycast.com wrapped is such a delightful moment that reminds me it's one of those tools that is just quietly always there. It's the foundation for how I move around the computer and get things done quickly.

It's been a wild ride! 🔥 Co-hosting virtual conferences with @remotesynthesis.com since 2022, two seasons of a talk show podcast, and a plethora of community connections and opportunities that would have been harder to find without the @cfedev.bsky.social community.

I find myself rarely using the *go-to-line* feature in VS Code (fork), but I use the Jumpy extension constantly. Love being able to move around the editor without leaving the keyboard or learning vim. 😅

Final update: simulator team jumped to #2 after the sweet sixteen, and stayed in second place for the remainder of the tournament. Other fun fact: it was a total coincidence that we had 9 different champions picked by 10 players. And, somehow, no one was correct.

One of the inevitable effects of experiencing a lull in writing is it takes me away from my website. And websites need constant care to be presented in the best light. Now that I'm easing back into writing personal posts, I'm starting to make small updates, beginning by introducing Bluesky links!

👀 Learned a new trick from @philippeserhal.com that I probably should have known for years. $0 is an alias for the currently selected element in Chrome. 🤯

My partner once won our family March Madness pool by choosing *which mascot is cuter as a baby*. IOW knowledge of the game, the league, or provided "analysis" may not really help. What might help is this little simulator I spun up that makes weighted, random guesses and gives you the results.

Here's the little Super Bowl Squares app I put together this week. Built with @astro.build, @supabase.com, and @netlify.com. I'm going to try this out today. You can, too — the README has setup instructions. Just a few quick steps to set up your database and deploy. github.com/seancdavis/s...

Cooking up a fun little app for the weekend! 🏈 💵 🦅 I'll put together a little video and some links in case you want to take it for a spin. And then going to write up a piece or two on my experience getting Bolt, Cursor, and my insecurities to play nicely together.

Not really a year-in-review, but took a quick look at the most used Slack emojis at work, and it definitely paints a 2024 picture. 😅 A very productive NY resolution would be to think outside the box and get a bit more creative with my emoji in 2025. Priority: High.

I disabled showing who's typing in Slack about a week ago and it's been a game-changer! 💥 Previously, I'd see someone typing, and my inclination would be to stick around and stay engaged. Now I'm way less distracted and get through messages so much faster. Highly recommend trying it.

Feeling fulfilled as I pack my bags to leave Toronto. The #VueConfToronto2024 organizers are top-notch. Absolutely superb event! 🎉 🇨🇦 🎉 Take this attention to detail as an example: they had printed cards ready to go, so when I needed notes on stage, the community brand with me.

Absolutely loving the venue for #VueConf this year. We're underway with the keynote from @evanyou.me! It's totally mind-boggling how many great tools were born from the @vuejs.org journey, which goes all the way back to 2013. #VueConfToronto2024

Things so surreal to me as I depart @githubuniverse: - meeting people IRL that I’ve chatted with for years online - Making new friends as an elder millennial - getting immediately by ex-netlifolks who want us to succeed - navigating confusing SF bathroom signage

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this discussion in AI + Web at Universe. But @biilmann.bsky.social did a great job facilitating. Got us in close groups and led to a series of super productive conversations.
