Initial feeling on Merkava changes: Huge nerfs to neutral and okizeme. Healthy changes? Yes. Does it feel like it matches the nerfs of other chars? No idea. We'll see how it goes. I'll stick to Merkava for a bit and see if the game feels any better before I make long term decisions about the game.

We've had a lot of tag fighters recently and it's nice but I wouldn't mind a dev exploring a middle ground game like KoF XI or Neogeo Battle Coliseum. No assists or active tags but more focus on swap combos and resource management. I think it's worth exploring.

Not fighting game related but: You can say someone runs fast by saying "ashi ga hayai," which literally translates to "legs are fast." You can also say this about food that rots fast.

I feel like lower level Exhibition matches should notify what characters the players are using beforehand. Honestly, felt a bit bad for Tyler when it was painfully obvious he had no idea what Marisa did. High level players? Secret picks might be hype because you can't bring a half-baked sub to win.

Japanese is very complicated in this regard. Especially when you get into weird cases such as rabbits. Generally land animals use the suffix "hiki (匹)" but for rabbits "wa(羽)" is used... which is what is used for birds. But then again in English we have things like "murder of crows"...
