If you love gritty medieval fantasy settings ala Berserk or The Witcher and classic kaiju wrestling matches ala Ultraman or Godzilla, then this is the story for you! It will be launching on Kickstarter uhh soon-ish.

This story is like if I took all the things I love from fiction and history and put it into a kaiju-sized blender, pulp and all.

Dark Fantasy goes COLOSSAL in this ultra-violent medieval kaiju henshin beat-em-up! I’m pleased to finally be announcing publicly what I’ve been toiling away at in the shadows over the past several months. BLOOD EAGLE is an original graphic novel that I initially conceived almost ten years ago.

Drew this Sugimori style piece to commemorate Pokémon Day a couple days ago. Pokémon has been as present in my life as Godzilla has so there’s no wondering why it’s had such an impact on my development as an artist and even as a person. So much fond nostalgia for this series. Sig with my two faves

Had a lot of fun coming up with this Showa-inspired design for @ghostxghost.bsky.social. I was pretty much given free reign on this so long as it was “retro” so I took the opportunity to depict a scene from one of my favorite Godzilla films ever ⛵️🦐

From the start I knew I wanted to make this feel like a special you would catch on Toonami, given the nature of these characters and the story. To that end I tried my best to evoke the aesthetic and vibes of 2000s action cartoons and anime.

Bagan vs Monster X (a comic I’ve been working on for the better part of a year now with @gigabowserg ) is finally unleashed upon the world and I finally have a moment to post about it! This was a huge labor of love from @nifanatic.bsky.social and I did my best to execute his vision.

(Shared on Twitter but wanted to share here) In honor of Godzilla’s 70th birthday I wanted to share some of the opportunities I’ve had to leave my own mark (officially) on this colorful franchise. Here’s to 70 more years and (hopefully) many more chances for me to tag along:

Thank you so so much! I’ve been trying to prioritize feeling over function in my work as of late so I’m glad these Pikmen are indicative of that

Seaguns 🏝️ @seaguns.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Hope you’ve enjoyed these! I plan on taking what I’ve been learning from studying my masters and applying it in my future work so keep an eye out on my page and give me a follow if you feel so inclined!

For this Pikmin set I used a watercolor brush to try and get closer to the Sugimori aesthetic. For the baby Snagret I pulled a bit from Terryl Whitlatch; another of my favorite watercolor artists.

For these I went with a marker brush because I wanted to emulate the look of those old Pokémon coloring books that I used to color as a kid.

I want to use Bluesky as sort of a new launching point and only post my new/original work but I really wanted to share these Ken Sugimori style studies I’ve done because I’m still really excited about how they turned out. I’ll post some closeups in the replies

Post your most popular art from Twitter: Pokémon Atomic Blue Coincidentally it’s not the one that made it into a movie.

Some Sig expression explorations. Since he has it was a fun challenge to have him emote with his whole body instead of just his face.

Seaguns 🏝️ @seaguns.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Meet Sig! The official Seaguns mascot ™️ I figured since this is a new start for all of us I’d kick this account off with something original that I’d been conceptualizing for a bit. My intent is to start leaning more into original ideas and characters (though not ditching fanart entirely)

Astounding! Quite a peculiar specimen indeed. It’s true nature remains a mystery but I suspect we’ll find out more soon enough…

That pattern is so striking! Quite an astonishing discovery indeed. We’ll need to take a closer look at it in the lab…

As such, he was given the designation of “Green Bean” and was subsequently coerced into carrying out numerous covert missions on behalf of the U.S. government. (Continued)

Hard to say because for one I like to keep whatever inventory I have for conventions. Also I like the idea of maintaining the exclusivity

010

Seaguns 🏝️ @seaguns.bsky.social · 10/09/2023

I’ve actually been meaning to pick one of these up. Do you do specific commission requests or is it whatever you come up with on the spot?
