Though this is what I have to work with around food and my eating disorder too because as my therapist says, you can’t “cold turkey” food and being overly restrictive just makes it more likely to binge or have a relapse. But it’s so much harder to find “what’s the healthy medium” and stay moderated.

I have a weird relationship with restriction, self-control, and what I should or shouldn’t have given the two closest members of my family growing up died from alcoholism (well they took their own lives but alcoholism led them there) and I’ve had issues with eating disorders and caffeine addiction.

I’m not supposed to have caffeine because of my health issues but I had some today because the seasonal depressive disassociative brain fog has me behind on a lot of things I needed to do, and it sure worked and let me get a lot of stuff done but now I feel weirdly guilty about it when I shouldn’t.
