That is my all time favorite. When I took the kids camping we always had to stop at the campground store to get a drumstick after every hike. 😊. We took lots of hikes.

On Friday I was out on my row boat and an eagle came down and grabbed a fish out of the lake just about 100 feet from me. There are often eagles around this lake. Did not have time to get pictures.

Summertime. Cooking on a wood fire, coleslaw and cucumber salad. Beer and a few tunes I used to cook on my fire pit more often but it is always a good time. The preparation and getting the right wood and coals just right is all part of the experience. !! 😊

I spent 30 hours last week volunteering at a booth for county fair. This morning was a Costco run, ouch!!🫤. I made a roll up with humus tomatoes and coleslaw for lunch with some cherries and sweet tea and fell asleep on the patio in the sun.

The photo is not mine. It is from a photographer I follow from Newfoundland. This is typical of the area. I really love the brightly colored houses and wooden boats from the small fishing villages. We visited there for 30 days in 2024. I have scheduled a trip to Nova Scotia in September !!
