Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 03/09/2025Seeing this from Florida and I'm just speechless because we seem to be going in the opposite direction here. 140
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 26/08/2025definitely something to keep an eye on. If we can continue to optimize things end to end ("tokens per watt per dollar") we can turn knowledge into abundance given the right environment. 🌈 020
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 01/08/2025Also, whatever OpenAI runs in Abilene, TX as part of Stargate is not part of Microsoft's cloud facilities. Microsoft is not perfect but they do publish sustainability reports for everything they do from the cloud to their supply chain. www.microsoft.com/en-us/corpor...microsoft.com2025 Environmental Sustainability Report | MicrosoftRead the annual sustainability report from Microsoft. Explore our progress to become a carbon negative, water positive and zero waste company. 052
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 01/08/2025It's more complicated than that. Yes, Microsoft has 49% of the commercial component but the controlling ownership is the nonprofit parent company. MSFT has invested billions for that 49% stake in exchange for usage rights and capped profits. However, Microsoft is not directly involved w/ Stargate. 000
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 01/08/2025Microsoft is not an owner or partner in Stargate. This is a data center partnership between OpenAI (not Microsoft), SoftBank & Oracle. If it were Microsoft you would see details about how they are actually using closed systems for water cooling which is sustainable. 060
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 09/05/2025It's the bad jokes that keep me tuning in though. Congrats on all the groans! 000
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 18/04/2025Just watched his interview with @profgalloway.com and I'm impressed with this fella. He's highly qualified to lead a country through a real crisis (and he has before). Canadians are in good hands. 040

Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 18/04/2025Serious question: if all the GOP congresspeople who are afraid will step aside (resign) would that get Dems a majority in the interim until special elections and appointments? 150
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 09/04/2025This doesn't come without a cost to the rest of us. The United States cannot be trusted as a partner in trade. Our reputation is damaged thanks to this game of billionaire chicken. 071
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 03/04/2025I do like the shoes Bernie. You're the full package. 010

Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 03/04/2025I don't doubt for a second that they're using LLMs for brainstorming evil. It's probably even the same commercially available AI that we use for cooking recipes and generating Ghibli art. 040
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 03/04/2025Did the same. Can you believe Scott's term doesn't end until 2031?? I'll be calling him often. 0142

Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 26/03/2025Consumer confidence is just the tip of the iceberg. The economic repair will take YEARS. I feel awful for anyone close to retirement. 020
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 26/03/2025Call ALL congressional representatives and demand resignations now. 202-224-3121 This should be a bipartisan demand. If you have republican reps like me, it is even more important to let them know this is unacceptable for our military leaders. Our country is less safe because of these clowns. 1104

Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 26/03/2025Thank you. Next, Ashley Moody and Rick Scott need to schedule town hall events. I doubt they will, so let's call them and demand it. Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 13/03/2025Fun fact: the theater in question "O Cinema" has screened over 50 Jewish films, hosts a monthly Holocaust screening with the Jewish Film Festival, and has been the host of the festival since 2014. 010

Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 11/03/2025Wow, so the White House lawn is now a tacky Tesla showroom? Nothing says ‘patriotism’ like turning a national symbol into a glorified sales pitch. Talk about shameless self-promotion. 000
Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 05/03/2025It’s baffling to think that the solution to an egg shortage is to raise chickens in your backyard. We rely on modern, industrialized food systems for a reason, and it’s not practical for everyone to suddenly become farmers. This suggestion is clearly out of touch with reality. 010

Saul Dolgin @sdolgin.bsky.social · 27/02/2025100%— off the top of my head, and without naming names, there are at least three Dems who’d do this without hesitation. (any guesses?) Plus @sanders.senate.gov is pretty much doing exactly this with his Midwestern GOP districts tour. 000
