If you ever want to know how lowly animation is seen by the rest of the film world, look no further than the NY Times survey of the 100 Best Movies of the 21st Century based on a survey of 500 filmmakers, stars & "influential" film fans. Just 4 animated films, and 3 are Pixar. 🙄🙄

The honest reason I don't have microtransactions/season pass/ads/100 DLCs/etc in Balatro isn't just about the ethics of those practices but because when I play other games that have those things it makes me want to put my computer in the dishwasher and set it to pots & pans

the dumbest thing that altered my brain chemistry is AnteaterEatingAnt. i can't hear compund nouns without imagining stuff like a "firefighter-fighting fire" or a "lawnmower-mowing lawn"

Starting to settle on a final design, still working out the colors and some small details like hair length. I love how this change into a Grimp (A grim shrimp?) came about kind of organically and it's just because I thought the "You're telling me a shrimp fried this rice?" is very amusing #art #oc

as an excuse to make some cool poses I designed a few characters from an 80s illegal wrestling tournament. FGHTR #1: BUME. "Losing his sight as a child didn't stop him from becoming the Champion. The ring is like a spiderweb, he can feel every vibration made by his prey." #characterdesign #wrestling

A character turnaround for a top-heavy African-American wrestler. He has many tattoos, like a third eye on his forehead and a spiny spider-like creature throughout his back.

Some expressions, hands callouts and poses of the same character.
