I hate Rulebreaker as an unclear way to circumvent the color ID rule Mostly ok with it as a means to make a Morophon-esque typal deck without access to every cEDH staple, but only if the type isn't evergreen I like it as a "the 4 Battle of Wits and 3 Yorion players can finally have a commander"

60 Card format legal reprints of these cards. They've only been in commander products and as a result, don't have foil versions. I think they are safe enough for Standard/Pioneer

Standard has been more enjoyable for me now than in the past 3-4 years now that mono-green is so viable, but I can't help but notice the overlap between the cards played in Pioneer, Standard, and even Planar Standard and feel a yearning for a different slower format

Incredibly happy with these changes to Brawl and will gladly turn my wildcards over to more fun designs. If I had any say for changes next, I'd want Vv'viza and Mythweaver Poq changed to engage more with the commander tax of Brawl. It's insane you can practically play with these and 99 lands.

Ban list update for Brawl including the banning of Force of Will, Subtlety, Wash Away, Ugin's Labryrinth, Time Warp, and Temporal Manipulation

Vv'viza is a Bant ID alchemy legend that lets you cast him every turn because he conjures a Planet on ETB

Mythweaver Poq not only allows you to cast him every turn (albeit if you are hitting land drops), but also how would one design any mono-green commander you'd want to play besides him?

My biggest Magic Hot Take?? Through the Omenpaths was the only thing I liked to come out of the Universes Beyond domino effect and felt more consequential for me to engage with than even Aetherdrift or Outlaws. I only know these cards by these names by choice. I’ll see yall in Hexhaven.

Huge fan of using the Special Guest slot to contextually reprint cards that specifically meld with Lorwyn and to also reprint cards from the original block that have extremely spiked in price or format relevance This one feels very tightly curated vs Lord Windgrace in Ixalan or the DFT set

Risen Reef works perfectly for Lorwyn’s elementals

Of course this once Dominarian Elf can be recontextuilized for Lorwyn

Love seeing the Boggle reprinted in a way that keeps his namesake deck out of Standard (even if it’s probably be fine lmao

Wanderwine prophet is one of the most expensive merfolk that really can’t be reprinted anywhere because of combo potential

Bright glass gear hull is my card of the year too! Chasing the high of playing Ranger of Eos and Birds of Paradise in standard has done wonders for my enjoyment of the game as I pause between UB sets
