#WIPWednesday ~ Finally getting back to some work art and getting started on a betta fish keychain to match the goldfish one. It'll be double sided and slide open to reveal a QR code that'll lead to my beginner's guide to ethical fishkeeping.

This started out as a quick doodle and then I spent FOREVER drawing cactus needles. #roadrage #wileroad #wilerunner

Posted a couple things over on insta that I was hesitating about and they took off in a way I DID NOT EXPECT. it's such a weird experience though because I'm so used to how chill Bsky is. On insta its largely been a very nice flood of positivity with a scattering of scared normies suddenly appearing

#WIP time. I'm not including this one in my series of paintings because instead of rendering it I'm using it as a study of the work of background artist Maurice Noble. Location is Steeple Rock in southwest New Mexico.

Part 7 of 7, actually. Was able to shave off a few frames not needed for static reading. THE END.

While I'm up to my #roadrage posting, I'm going to make a post for all the frames for my giant animatic for those who prefer a comic-like browsing so bear with me while I make a bunch of replies in the comments with around 80 frames. #wileroad #wilerunner Part 1 of 8

Part 3 of 3. Fun fact: Both coyotes and roadrunners eat rattlesnakes.

Had time to slap some color on this little project today and strung it into a basic animatic. Song is I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Pretenders. I'll also include the color frames in the comments for those who like to follow at their own pace. #wilerunner #wileroad #roagrage

Part 3 of 3. In time I'll probably put color on this slowly. Might make an animatic, not sure. Should Wile E.'s apron say something when I color it? #wileroad #wilerunner #roadrage

If Ralph and Sam can be amicable co-workers, who's to say these two can't be living in domestic bliss during their off-hours? Part 1 of 3, more to come. #wileroad #wilerunner #roadrage

I'm going to go over these messy 26 frames with the barest clean up sketch. I'll post them 10 at a time once I get there and maybe in my free time I'll go back and give them loose color. #wileroad #wilerunner #roadrage

Well I got a little lazy #9 because it turns out I really did not enjoy painting snow. But I really wanted to get some high desert into this series. This is a spot in Utah southeast of Zion. I love this area so much. #wileroad #wilerunner #roadrage

Wondering if anyone in the #roadrage / #wilerunner / #wileroad fandom would be interested in doing a collab with me?? I've got 26 frames of messy slice of life storyboards that I don't really have the time to do anything with if someone was interested in drawing them.

Coming along SLOWLY. "I want to paint snow" "...I've never painted snow" "I do not like painting snow" Also the light is difficult and counter-intuitive in these conditions! And my long vacation is coming to an end so... we'll see when I get this done @_@ #wileroad #wilerunner #roadrage

Painting #9 in progress featuring south central Utah, just southeast of Zion. Ive always loved this area for the mix of red rock and greenery and I think its so beautiful with a dusting of snow. #wip

HERE IT IS. Post-Coyote vs ACME. 1-10 of 26 frames. Rest in comments. #wileroad #wilerunner #roadrage I probably won't bother making this an animatic because I don't plan to post it on insta and I don't even know what music I'd use.

Slapping some sloppy, washy color over my slightly cleaned sketches because a. I hate inking b. I hate my inks (they always turn out stiff) and c. this thing ballooned to 26 frames and someday I need to draw something other than this pairing >_> #wip

#8, Bryce Canyon is under way and I hate myself for this one. 😭 I've wanted to do it but it's so harrrrddddd. And I'm working with a GIGANTIC file because the scale is ridiculous. Also I have never visited Bryce and I want to soooooo bad. I almost made it there on a road trip but ran out of time.
