- Silicate chemistry is second nature to us geochemists, so it's easy to forget that the average person probably only knows the formulas for olvine and one or two feldspars.

I can't figure out how to link to someone else's post (I'm rubbish), but I loved this.

(Dune book covers but the title of Dune is "Paul is Bad", and the title of Dune Messiah is "OK, I guess I wasn't clear..."
