okay FINE i cleaned up my pokemon teams for chris and wesker 😩 i am NOT mentally ill. (i am only mentally ill when i get to the next stage of assigning them competitive moves)

Chris's team:

Fighting → fighting/dark, becoming immune to Wesker's psychic damage

Is the ace Growlithe→Arcanine? The trained dog inside him is his essential nature… the bear and 'rilla are later developments.

Hisuian Growlithe: Loyal and protective “scout”/pointman, a Chinese guardian lion-dog.
Machoke: Bodybuilding wrestler, with conflicting reports about it being modest or a showoff.
Poliwrath: Soft muscle, swift swimmer :)
Primeape: Pig ape that gets so angry that it dies.
Scrafty: Rude delinquent with spiky hair, immune to psychic damage.
Tauros: Ferocious bovine, though can be tamed to be a ride.

Punished, fully evolved:
Annihilape: After Primeape gets so angry it dies, it becomes an angry ghost whose strength only grows the more you attack it.
Hisuian Arcanine: A fully evolved Guardian Lion-dog, turned into a stone statue that cannot harm itself when it uses Head Smash.
Lycanroc Midnight: Hound wolf. The slowest and most vicious of Rockruff's evolutions, it will not miss with its boulder destroying attacks - but it cannot dodge either.
Machamp: Fully evolved Machoke. It can be used as a ride now, carrying its trainer with one pair of arms, and pushing boulders out of the way with its other pair of arms.
Pangoro: Delinquent-like like Scrafty, it appears violent and standoffish, but has a kind heart to its companions. Immune to psychic attacks.
Scrafty: Still here, still immune to psychic attacks.

Wesker's team:

Poison main, psychic secondary.

Main team:

Blaziken: Martial arts, speed boost, very leggy (chikyo chagi!)
Glimmora: Poison/Rock flower with a strange connection to terastalization, much like the progenitor virus found in the Sonnentreppe flowers.
Nidoking: Mini-tyrant, genetic chimera of several creatures (rabbit, gorilla, porcupine, rhino). Was Giovanni's ace in the first game. Although its female counterpart Nidoqueen cannot breed, Nidoking can for some reason.
Reuniclus: Cell division of fetuses. “Drinking the liquid covering Reuniclus's body is said to grant wisdom; however, the liquid is extremely toxic.”
Espurr: If Chris defeats the entire team, he can beat up Wesker's babby starter he never evolved. Big autism eyes hiding its inner struggle and has no gendered characteristics, mega-evolution merges genders (genetic chimera cat). “Should it not get what it wants, it will torment anyone with its psychic abilities. It generally has a stoic expression even when using its powers, and its unfriendliness is part of its charm.”

Aces:

Tyranitar (RE1 STARS ace): Tyrant. “Due to the colossal power poured into it, this Pokémon's back split right open…It's unclear whether it can even hear its Trainer's orders. ”
Deoxys (RE5 first fight ace): Mutated virus in attack form. No defense at all.
Nihilego (RE5 final fight ace): MOTHERBEAST. Narratively, Nihilego fuses with Lusamine to form MOTHERBEAST, and the creature intensifies her negative emotions. Lusamine is a 40+ single mom who's started being very cruel to her kids after her husband died, and she's become obsessed with creating a new world as a paradise for herself and the Ultra Beasts.
