I wanna have coffee with you both and talk about role of thinking and AI in teaching, as well as medicine. @hswapnil.medsky.social thanks for posting this.

Finally had time to watch this in full. Agree, I am excited and horrified = 1:1 I’m with @adamrodmanmd.bsky.social in saying at least once a day “I’m a grumpy old person, writing is thinking” - someone else like me! However as a surgeon, I disagree with the idea that I should use scribes 😉

Seems i was meant to have left to start a family “back home”? After living here most of my adult life, and thinking this is “home” Probably to make sure I have given the most in taxes and taken nothing in benefits

I use the sentence “writing is thinking” at least once a week on this topic. I’m glad I found someone else who says the same!!

Amazing. I have my thoughts and slides, but really want to look at other views and hear from others on what they feel is important. It’s such a quickly evolving field, feels like today’s assessment of the situation is outdated by the evening

Friends, if you were giving a talk about using AI safely for teaching / learning, what would be the things you’d want to be mentioned Not looking for one sided views. The good. The bad. The “I want to hide away” as much as “AI is the best tutor”

Never been to the opera before? Now’s your chance. We’re giving away 70,000 free tickets to the @metopera at the iconic Lincoln Center. Go to on.nyc.gov/opera to enter the lottery. There’s not a bad seat in the house.

A party stuck in yesterdays views, optics and methods is of course surprised that those old tricks don’t work. Is there a way to do 2026 politics without the populism? I genuinely don’t know. Anyone?

Fwiw I also don’t think this attack line will work. Not in today’s times. Not really aware if there is anyone in the CDU who could actually take on the situation? And no, not Spahn. In most German parts CDU politicians are still the old ones who get voted in for going to wine fests etc

I’m def no fan of Merz, but I do like his attack line on this. Even if I feel sorry for him. Standhaftigkeit is what is needed, but today’s politics are not the old world. We are all heading for disaster, eyes open, and those who try to help are using old methods which won’t work. Scary times

Likely left-left (Spd / linke). BSW seem out. CDU close to eviction on latest numbers. Nonetheless the risk of AfD is real, and not going away. Overton window shifting month on month. They came second in many western parts during general election, which should worry everyone

Im Glad I grew up in times where i wasn’t tracked - whether during school, nor when backpacking the world. But not wanting to pay their own bills seems an odd choice from the tracked ones to make. Surely freedom is worth more than a phone and contract?

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers. As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other.

What a shortsighted and ill informed comment to make. Structures destroyed and defunded by Trump Et al will take a long time, money, investment, and prioritisation (vs other stuff) to build up over many years if ever. Human knowledge, skills, infrastructure all lost
