Again, hit the mark perfectly! The pourover is solid but I reeeeaaally liked the espresso. Can't go wrong either way. But I think I'll be making espresso shots with this bag. 140

It's a naturally processed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. Wonderfully balanced. Little bit of acid, definite berry notes. One of my favorite coffees and roasted very well. 082

But with the Flair you can control pressure much more exactly and at 7-8 bars the entire time, this shot tasted great! Lightly acidic, fruity, and smooth. 110

Ethiopian coffees are more fruit and acid forward, with many tasting and smelling like blueberries. They tend to be light roast to preserve this flavor profile. For pourover were still at 24g in -> 400g of water ratio. 110

I think some people might be a little iffy on mail order coffee because of freshness issues, but here's what's cool. After you roast coffee, it needs 6-8 days to off-gas before it's actually good to brew. This makes the delivery time a feature not a bug. 240

I don't think it's gonna knock me off the light roast express anytime soon. Ethiopian coffees are still a personal favorite. But gosh it's good. Fruitier notes without much acidity. Unfortunately ground a bit too coarse again, but very close. 7 bars, 22 seconds. But the cup was great. Apple notes came through. So did the chocolatey notes.
