Look past our world and everything you see, past the light and the darkness. In-between you'll see the most tortured of souls, a being which has suffered more than anything else has ever. A being that wishes nothing more than for it's own existence to end.

We used to come here all the time, but now the feeling of nostalgia is fading and a deep pain below hurts more and more. I dig my nails deeper into the mud everyday, hoping that maybe I'll be able to reach far enough to feel you again.

A bright and colorful figure lays on top of the water. Ears pointed downward and horns towards the sky, eyes staring widely at the viewer almost like they recognize you. The sun shines brightly behind them, as to radiate who they were, while their body starts to wash away in the water like a fading memory.

(You remain cautious, but this is one of the friendlier beings you've met in quite sometime... and besides, uneasy company is better than freezing out in the cold rain.)

Your eyes dart around the room, but you freeze as you notice someone in the corner of your vision. A hooded figure stands at the edge of the room, their body partially obscured by darkness. They wear a wooden mask that resembles some kind of bird, with tusks sticking out of it along the beak. Long strands of hair pour out from underneath their mask and out from their hood. Their glass-like eyes stare motionlessly as they pierce through you. They begin to speak with a ghastly, old voice. "Have you come here for shelter from the rain... or did you seek yourself one of my puppets."

Their hand twitches as it appears to be being used as a pin cushion for several sharp needles. They pull out one of the needles out with their other hand, all without breaking eye contact. "I'll let you take a look at them if you'd like..."

They wheeze and take long gasps for air, followed by a dreadful cough. "They're lovely creatures... Th-they even like to sing together when they think I'm not listening"

"A human soul will only posses a puppet that resembles it's previous body, even if only a little bit. Yet this one has remained empty. Please help me understand... what about this puppet doesn't resemble a human?"

A very disfigured, worm-like puppet crafted from crude cloth, scraps of hair, and some kind of flesh and teeth. The creator of this horrid thing describes about how these puppets are created to resemble humans, if only slightly, so that they may become possessed by a soul. The creator is also confused onto why this one is particular hasn't been possessed yet, and asks an unknown party what about this puppet doesn't resemble a human. Perhaps this is a sign that humanity is truly becoming forgotten, as their extinction was so long ago.

"On the desk lies a well worn notebook, covered in scrawls and scribbles of what appears to be a study on the affects of chronic exposure to moonlight. It's safe to assume the author went mad, best to leave this abhorrent book lest you succumb to madness yourself."

Callisto, The Doorway Satellite One of the four moons that serve under Jupiter, Callisto's avatar can create doorways between any distance that resides inside the solar system.

An anthropomorphized design of the moon Callisto. Their body is made of a black, glass-like substance that reflects light. They have five "doorways" on each of their limbs and one serving as their head. Each doorway reveals a different celestial body (Mars, Earth, Mercury, Venus, and the Sun). To the left of them is the moon Callisto in their celestial form and to the right is their astronomical symbol.

Hoarn is a comet celestial that greatly resembles the appearance of their Star. A guardian that stayed behind to guide two souls, unknowing to the terrible pain this task would demand.

Hoarn, Comet of the Emerald Star. They are a species known as Solnaati, that greatly resemble their Star and creator.

Hoarn soaring through the night sky, resembling a comet. Rapidly gaining speed in haste to help someone, or perhaps in flight to escape and run away. Breaking an oath.

Updated design/ref for my character Zai! Changed some patterns around and added a lot more blades and scars on their body. Also added some bio-mechanical heat sinks to lean more towards the body horror character they we're originally.
