A post pleading to appeal to the humanity of others by asking that we not normalize behaviors such as using lethal force for simple traffic obstruction, such as the Minnesota incident which claimed the life of Renee Good, or disregarding the hostile actions taken against our neighbors and allies such as seizing oil vessels and foreign leaders in Venezuela. The post warns that these domestic and foreign actions threaten all of us.

The post summary states; "This is not about left or right. It is about what kind of people we choose to be when the world around us starts shifting in ways that do not feel normal. It is about whether we still recognize the line between keeping our country safe and losing our sense of humanity in the process. If we stop paying attention, if we shrug off things that should never be shrugged off, we risk becoming the kind of society that accepts harm as long as it happens to someone else. And that is when it eventually reaches the people we love."

Two weeks before Charlie Kirk was shot and killed by an assassin from the length of two football fields, we fired the FBI Director for that region. This doesn't feel like someone upset over anti-gay speech, but rather a professional hit. The timing of these two events cannot be a coincidence.

As a leader in Operations for nearly two decades, this may be the best description of DEI that I've seen thus far. The common misconception that the goal is to hire people of color is simply not true (at least within the organizations that I have had the pleasure of leading throughout my career)

Trump announced incoming 25% blanketed tariffs on all goods coming from China or Mexico starting on day 1 in office. I guess we're going to FAFO right away how poorly this will go. Maybe we'll magically stop needing all of these goods
