I don't know how or where to start. I guess at the beginning of the end?
In case you missed it, Amanda and I broke up last year. We have a kid together, a 9-year old son who is autistic, nonverbal, and has high support needs. We also moved 1600 miles across the country. So when we broke up, I had nowhere to go. We have tried to live together, but the scenario has been made clear that it's not working out.
For the mental health of everyone, our son included, we have decided that it is time I move out and on. I cannot do this alone.
Due to mine and our child's disabilities, I have not been in the workforce for ~10 years. Amanda has been the sole provider for the family so I could focus on recovery from a back injury/surgery, as well as making sure our child was properly cared for.

I am swallowing every ounce of pride I have and asking for assistance, the biggest of all being a place to live. The location does not matter, provided it's within the states.
I do not have money to offer for rent or utilities, but I have a lot of skills.
I am a decent cook, from vegan to vegetarian to omnivore. I enjoy sorting, so that massive pile of bulk cards you've been neglecting would disappear in no time. I don't mind cleaning (even bathrooms) but do have a daily limit due to a back injury. I am great at managing medication refills and doctor appointments. I do not have a car, but I do have a license and spotless driving record. I actually like grocery shopping! I am a bargain shopper and will scour coupons and deals for everything. I am experienced in caring for disabled children and adults, including autism and dementia. I went through nursing school, but had to drop out during clinical, so I am knowledgeable in first-aid, CPR, and medication administration, including needle injections. I love animals; I need more exercise so I am happy to take a dog, cat, bird, fish, whatever, out for a walk. I can do minimal yard work and gardening due to my aforementioned bad back.

I will be paying for my own food and other necessities, but like I said, I do not have the ability to pay rent or utilities at this time. I will try to obtain employment, but we all know what that market looks like (add on the fact I am trans and disabled - no, I do not qualify for disability), so I do not have a timeline of possibilities there. But in exchange for not being able to financially provide, I am offering everything listed (and probably more).
I have the means in which to move, just in need of a destination.
