Happy late #LetterboxdFriday, #filmsky. My #LastFourWatched include a solid made-for-tv holiday slasher, an ultra horny Italian vampire flick, and two great movies: one from Carol Reed about community in the Northern Ireland resistance and the other featuring a bunch of practical goop. boxd.it/5gbF

Happy #LetterboxdFriday, #filmsky. My #LastFourWatched include a pretty decent Jack Haley comedy and three rewatches including a film where Steve McQueen seems to age a little bit more every time I see it. boxd.it/5gbF

Starting October off with some great made-for-tv horror and a real gem from Carole Lombard playing against type in a pre-code possession flick. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched boxd.it/5gbF

Happy #LetterboxdFriday, #filmsky. Here are my #LastFourWatched. My big tip this week is run, don't walk, to archive.org and watch their postage stamp sized avi of Terror Aboard, an honest-to-goodness pre-code slasher with a huge body count.

I threw on my blu ray of The Omen then went to look something up and hit my favorite recurring "People Also Ask" bit:

I've never seen a movie justify its entire existence in the last ten minutes quite like William Cameron Menzies' The Maze (1953).

Happy #LetterboxdFriday, #filmsky. Here are my #LastFourWatched. I was getting worried that I was overrating things because I had only been watching "good" movies. Luckily, Motor City came out to set my barometer straight. boxd.it/5gbF

Looking at my #Letterboxd diary, I realize I've been watching too many good movies lately and it's kind of screwing up my baseline rating. What's are some real quintessential 2-2.5 star movies I can watch to get my bearings straight?

Nolan makes most of the right choices and still comes away with a mixed bag adaptation of incredibly difficult material that often feels at odds with itself. He really lands the plane though in the final third which is where Damon really soars.

If you subscribe to MGM+ for some reason, one of the year's best movies, Is God Is, is available to watch right now. So you should do that.

Happy I got to see The Odyssey under the wire to make my #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday. My big take: It's pretty good! But the real revelation for me this week was Nicholas Ray's Bigger Than Life, starring James Mason as a friendly schoolteacher all hopped up on cortisone. boxd.it/5gbF

I'm sorry but if you put 350 hours into a $15 game (Soulstone Survivors in this case) you shouldn't be allowed to give it a negative Steam review.

Some dipshit with 350 hours in a $15 game left a "Not Recommended" review on Steam. The devs should be allowed to beat this person with sticks.

As an old, I can't think of the last post-1997 record I listened to front-to-back before today. That being said, Olivia Rodrigo's new album is incredible.
