Can confirm.
The National Park Service says "Most squirrel bites originated at the front, or "bitey end," of the squirrel."

This is Dipper. His hobbies include being in the way, being on the bed, and wanting outside at 3am.

Finishing off bits of art homework.
Acrylic painting of a jug full of flowers, sitting on an orange plate. It's beside a smaller dark blue jug, and they're surrounded by fruit. All are sitting on a checked tablecloth. The pattern on the flower jug is based on a cup from a Van Gogh painting (Still life with Coffee Pot) and the background is taken from the same painting.

No corvid stories but we did have a starling nest in our extractor fan vent this year. Noisy things. Also, no thirst traps, just Dipper

I was not allowed to move for at least half an hour.

Birthday book haul! (Comics not shown)
A pile of books on top of a bookcase, beside a basket of cotton yarn. The books are, from top to bottom, The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World by Bettany Hughes, Map of a Nation: a biography of the Ordnance Survey by Rachel Hewitt, The Earth Transformed by Peter Frankopan, Crypt by Prof. Alice Roberts, Kitchen by Nigella Lawson, Avatar: the High Ground vol. 1, and Incas: Lords of Gold and Glory.

fun fact, I've been down the salt mine at Carrickfergus that is shown in that map in the thread. Exciting field trip! The feeling of breathing brine-air is very memorable. I had a salt sample, but left it in the communal kitchen and someone moved it to the damp draining board. No more sample :(
blurry map showing salt deposits in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. The name Carrickfergus is highlighted in yellow, as it's where the Salt Mine is. The mine goes out underneath Belfast Lough.
