#scribbledribbles #iterian Meet Azyr! Second Iterian design I've made, this time a character I share with my friend Lysander! Despite how complex these species are, I very much enjoy working on em... Species created by me and @realbrownviking.bsky.social

The artwork portrays a taur-like creature with unusual characteristics, the back of their head forms into four horns, with plates between them, similar plates cover their spine as well as forearms and shoulders. Their hands are quite large and have claws instead of fingers, they have three pairs of arms, the second one being where their legs would normally be if they were a humanoid being, with the much larger, actual legs behind them. The third pair is smaller, located between the front legs and hind legs. It is worth noting that their ribs are partially revealed on the outside of their body, and their entire underside is transparent, revealing their inner body, the inner see-through tissue sparkles like stars on the night sky. There is also a front facing portrayal of their mouth.

Fluffy individual hitting a rather eccentric pose, his head leaning back slightly, his back also arching a little, right arm lifted slightly and reaching to the right with his fingers spread out in a relaxed manner, the left arm is lifted up, bent at the elbow and leaning back a bit further away from the viewer, his left hand is closed, with his thumb pointing at his face? His body has three main shades of green- the brightest, close to pistachio green, is upon his underside, inner ears, jaw, hands, feet, as well as the underside of the tail. The second color, close to emerald or mantis green, spreads across his back, hair, and the spaces between the pistachio green and the third shade, a slightly darker and desaturated forest green, spreading across his face, ears, sides, shoulders, thighs, and the tip of the tail... There are also markings upon his face, shoulders, and thighs, a very dark green, they can however glow similarly to his eyes, which are a shade of- turquoise or malachite green. They have no claws, just sharp looking fingers, and their paws are more bunny-like, no pawpads.

He is almost ready... I cannot decide on a name however, apparently Zander is a species of fish despite it being an actual name so idk about that one... Definitely something that starts with Z, perhaps Zen? Zayn? Zeke? Let me know what you all think! Feel free to suggest names too <3

The Meowscarada... quite happy with the design, made a bunch of alts yeah, idk if I should make a back view version of this body or nah. Not certain about the name yet, might go for Bitty or Bitsy? Nicknamed Miss Business lol

Meowscarada, pretty typical appearance excluding the tie-like leaf on the chest, extra flowers around their wrists and around the base of the puffy ponytail on the back of their head. Their leaf-like elements and green colored parts have a checkered pattern.

Same as before, this time with a jacket-like leaf present, covering most of their torso, also having those checkered patterns

#mawshot Oh yeah I have recently finished this commission for Mindbender! Due to various events and other art projects getting in the way, it was unfinished for quite some time, until now... I'd say I am quite happy with how it turned out!

dragon looking pretty content and somewhat smug with a sunset in the background, reflecting in the sea... dark grey scales, with blue plates along the top of their head and back of the neck, with longer, darker frills going along said blue scales.

same dragon with their mouth opened rather widely, a dark shade of purple accompanied by pearly white teeth and saliva, the forked tongue slightly lifted up. The smug aura is stronger.

A sergal with the lower half being more snake like, and having a fluffy hood instead of ears. Their right arm resting on their curled up coils.

Four years since firstly coming up with this character, and only now she gets a full body 😭 Went through multiple design iterations, but I think I like this one the most. Halo! Magical construct from some manapunk & decopunk dimension...

Art deco themed protogenesque construct with white fur, panels which fade from white to a cream or latte-like brown, present in typical areas, arms, chest, thighs- each element has an indentation with golden and silver trims surrounding it, inside is a dark blue, gemstone-like material with a teal glow emanating from within. Ring-like patterns spread from said rings, separating the fade between the primary and secondary colors into stages.

Also, big bushy tail, blue paws, golden claws- she also has golden horns with a golden halo floating above them.

Finally colored the sketch of Ruxoi, and made them a bit more fluffy

fluffy taur creature with a fox-like lower, their limbs are striped black and red, the tail's tip is white. They have a particularly fluffy pouch like a kangaroo, and a face that somewhat resembles both kangaroo and deer. Very funky creature indeed

I sketched this some time ago but didn't bother sharing, thought this isn't the proper target audience for this kind of art, but I might as well do it. Design of a character for the world of Inaeris, my attempt at more of a fantasy setting! Inspired by sketches and paintings by Z. Beksinski

Picture portrays a robotic looking character standing in front of a reflective table, with a six sided die resting upon it. The character's head is somewhat rectangular in shape, with any holes of various sizes present upon it, the lenses within it gazing piercingly at the viewer. Thin fabric covers some of their head, arms and shoulders, lifted by airflow and covering some of the background, crude cutouts present around their neck and waist for more mobility, torso appearing to be pierced in multiple places, the largest hole plugged with said fabric. The character appears to have multiple arms too.

Trying to finally visualize the improved and more refined design of Gunship, the details are more evenly distributed compared to the first form. All the different inspirations (mainly from anime, and potentially warframe, thinking about it...) are like REALLY showing in this sketch though 😭

Gunship walking with his left arm reaching out, the other folded into a more compact form, they seem to be talking with, out of all things, their shoulder turret, which is sentient to be fair... And has a name, but I have not yet figured that one out. Their secondary pair of arms, mostly used like wings of sorts, and tail, are visible in the background. They are wearing a plate hat (also sentient, acquired from some sort of hunter unit sent after him at one point) and loincloth, as well as some decorative objects hanging off said hat and his 'ears'

Reference of Zyx the Iterian, species and character co-designed with @realbrownviking.bsky.social! The character is also owned by them. The process of creating this critter was quite pleasant, and surprisingly quick!

Lijo my beloved She always looks so smug with her ears retracted into the (very spacious) hair- however you could call this hair style. The two latter sketches are older.

Oh yeah, forgot to post this here! Recently designed character called Nesomi, they are basically a shapeshifting raptor-like species, capable of partially disguising themselves as other beings, mostly herbivores.

The reference sheet shows a rear and front view of the character, alongside a 3/4 fullbody shot in the center, and a 3/4 fullbody shot on the right, portraying the more cryptid-like form of Nesomi, with his long tongue stuck out, something in-between his real, raptor-like proportions, and the proportions that can be considered normal. There is also a mouth reference, once again showing the long, frog-like tongue.

The anatomy, proportions, and even height can alter slightly as Nesomi isn't the best at maintaining his appearance, although it's not noticeable for those who don't meet him often, I'd say.

Design wise, Nesomi's body has three shades of brown, and a beige color. And a nice shade of green for his eyes, and of course the pink for his mouth...

The darkest brown is reserved for Nesomi's claw-like hooves, ram-horns, and the scales which stretch along his back, the top of his tail, as well as the outer thighs. Lighter brown is mostly visible around his fluffier areas, such as lower legs and forearms, as well as his hair- and armpit fluff. the lighter and slightly more desaturated brown, sort of peanut-butter like, is visible on most of his body, excluding his face, inner ears, chest, underbelly, inner thighs, and the underside of his tail, these areas are more cream colored.

Nesomi is a shared character, the design and concept of which was made with the great help of Kabiti <3

Oh yeah I've recently made a design for Tereza Zbirak! She is supposed to be a rat with possum fur patterns. Now just to make some proper art of the actual Zbirak...

Reference sheet for a female rat-possum hybrid OC called Tereza, she is 6'5" tall and mostly rat-like anatomically, with the exception of her color palette and fur patterns, which are more possum-like, with a brightly colored face and darker limbs.

The reference shows her front and back, the back view having her right arm and tail hidden to show her markings better. Worth noting that she is plantigrade!

Redesigned my first ever character! Here's Illox, the rather shaped alien creature, the design of which mixes raypunk and biopunk elements into a very goobery critter. He was a protogen in the previous designs, now- he still sort of looks like one, but I have no idea what he actually might be.

The image portrays the redesign of my alien character Illox, his body is fluffy and cream colored, with some darker splotching and lighter backside. The armor pieces of his artificial body elements are shades of purple with various tubes and windows containing turquoise liquid (which is supposed to have gravity-controlling properties). He has an antenna, a visor displaying three eyes alongside a toothy smile, including a blep too. He has two ram-horn like structures which connect to his shoulders with tubes, as well as three pairs of vials containing the liquid instead of ears.

With that, I decided to learn a new skill and attempt animating, so here's this icon portraying Uro. Even if it is simple, it was quite a challenge! I'm happy with how it turned out.

Newest artwork portraying Uro, and the first one I've done in a bit, I was struggling with motivation to draw but a conversation with my friend about this noodle inspired me to sketch him- which ended up turning into this artwork, I am definitely very happy with how it turned out.

The artwork portrays my character Uro stretching in a kneeling position after likely napping for quite some time, arching his torso outward, his right forearm hidden behind his thigh, while the left arm is mostly covered by his torso, only his left hand is visible and closed, fingers curled inward. The tail behind him appears to also be stretching, with the tailmouth spreading open, revealing it's tendrils like a blooming flower of sorts. Uro appears to be in a narrow, triangular tunnel made of reflective surfaces, leading to what might be a window, or perhaps a screen of sorts, revealing a violet, starry sky with a purple nebula.

Redesign concept sketch for one of my alien species called Muttarians, rodent-like beings inhabiting and maintaining giant megastructures. Living conditions there aren't the best and their planet's atmosphere is thin and polluted, they have to adapt using cybernetics, and carry an air supply tank.

One year :D It has been quite a blast thus far, I am certainly hoping to make even more art until the next anniversary! I am grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this time <3

Six of my characters, specifically Hyss, Toshi, Rose, Syne, Zbirak, and Uro (behind) celebrating using various instruments! Hyss has a comedically tiny kazoo, Toshi has a typical party horn thing, Rose is lamenting over the fact they can't really breathe that well as they are a slime and just blocked their small horn full of goo- Syne uses some sort of... doohickey, likely made out of car horns and velocity stacks, sounds absolutely horrible and he calls it the 'assembly of thorngles' or something like that. Zbirak just uses a vuvuzela, and Uro has a horn he made himself out of a petrified mushroom!
