I hit 1,000 followers on X/Twitter so I've leveled up! Time for a new anime avatar (heavily based off of #myheroacademia)

An anime style self portrait, blazing red hair, long and spiky, big glasses and eyes, a black and green hoody, with a black and green checkered background. There's also text in pink and green that says "Level Up"

Had to make some updates to Daryl the Dragon for print because I originally designed him in RGB. He's not quite as vibrant, but I made some improvements here and there. I think it'll really pop in print.

Had fun doing this commission. I've been loving toonifying people's pets xD

Second #PortfolioDay of 2026! Cartoons with clean lines and bold colors are my specialty. I do character designs, backgrounds, comics, and switch styles. I have experience drawing for advertisements and merchandise. #portfolio #artsky Other social/💼: Instagram.com/JazzyTyfighter

I'm in a very similar situation, so just saying: we totally get it. It's been so rough out here. Wishing you the best! All I can do is boost for now, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

Ash in the Wind is now a member of SpiderForest collective! That means from now on, you can read new pages every Thursday on its own website! It will always be at least one week ahead of mirrors (except for patreon 😉) Check it out! ashinthewindcomic.com

Neil and Lex, the main characters of my webcomic Ash in the Wind, are in a dark forest alarmed by a large purple spider dropping down on them. The spider is SpiderFriend, the mascot of SpiderForest collective!

And lately they seem to be prioritizing recycled, stolen content, and specifically keeping real creators down. It's infuriating.

Yeah, I just did a purge of followers. I don't make shiny art like others, but I've worked since 2009 to barely rack up 1200 followers. After I went through today, I had less than 300 left. It was pretty depressing seeing all the old friends who were gone too.

I've done almost nothing here yet, and yet I've had more interaction in a few minutes than days on the old site.

Anyone know if hourly comic day is happening again this year? I think it's on February first.

Trying to be a bit more consistent on Bluesky now because I've been feeling pretty lonely. The art community online really dispersed over the years. I miss it!

2D animation not involving any of the original characters. Just unrelated but in the universe. Tell your own story.

Merlin straight up kills her. Which is merited, because she was trying to kill him...and Wart and Kay. Pretty blunt though haha. It's definitely got one of those old fairy-tale vibes. Random stuff happens, and then they move on. Super interesting stuff.

The Sword in the Stone is my favorite film. Love the characters and animation. And I really like the simple quality to it. I've been reading the original book it's based off of, and just got to the story about Madam Mim. She's only in the story for one chapter.

I've been forcing myself to draw in Blender's Grease Pencil. It certainly feels like an uphill battle, but I CAN make some cool things in it. Have yet to really tap the potential, so I'll keep at it.

Self-poirtrait. Digital. Cartoony. I have red hair, that's swoopy and spikey. Large-rimmed, black glasses. A turquoise jacket and yellow shirt. I look off to the right.
