Sloppy storytelling & obvious budget retraints really hurt this one, and the plot starts strong but fizzles fast But Dastardly Roddy is my favorite kind of Roddy, and he's bringing depth and passion and impish joy to this otherwise flaccid flick. Bonus points for Jill Haworth's bodacious bob.

Fantastically funny that hits that perfect balance between clever comedy and gore-streaked horror. The cast is pitch perfect (Mena Suvari is particularly fabulous, the effects are delightfully revolting and it even got me in the feels at the end.

The banter in a screwball mystery comedy like this requires a deft light touch like a Cary Grant or Robert Hayes. But Bridges delivers every line with sledgehammer brutality... And this character NEVER shuts up. It's exhausting and hard to listen to. I couldn't wait for it to end

No, more a modern spin on classic Gothic mystery tropes Innocent girl. Old dark house. Deep dark secret. It has to run its course in its 9wn time. Plus she's having these premonition flashes that are jarring and disorienting, so its often difficult to put the pieces together (in a good way)
