This abomination is the photo at the top of the Wikipedia page for egg sandwich.

The bread looks to be some very thin white bread, then a leaf of butter lettuce, on top of that there are 5 slices of hard boiled egg topped with a drizzle of lightly pink tinged sauce or dressing and then the second piece of white bread. Its cut on the diagonal.

It's a sad and anemic example of a sandwich.

Something that would be fascinating to cover, but something I am not personally sourced for, are the arrests of activists or press by federal agents. I did try staking out one activists home, but she was arrested at a hotel instead.

I am not claiming ICE doesn't exist anymore. I am stating that it is more difficult to cover it on the ground for a number of reasons, including less agents, the tactics of the community to prevent raids, and an apparently smaller frequency of "papers please" stops of pedestrians.
