I never put my two cents in because I didn’t think it was worth arguing about, because I don’t understand why that’s an offense, but also, my number one fandom fallacy is “why cant we all just get along” sooooo…😅

Not the “Astarion being canonically pansexual but people taking offense if others don’t ship him with their exact headcanon” discourse again 🫩🫩🫩

ScrapSovereign @scrapsovereign.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I might go looking for ✨the discourse✨ when I finish reading it to see what everyone’s so upset about, but otherwise I don’t see anything super crazy? #astarionbook #astarionnovel

PS: before anyone comes at me for calling Astarion fans crazy IT’S BECAUSE WE ARE. Crazy can be good, bad, or in the grey middle somewhere, and we are allllllll of those. It’s what makes this fandom fun, awful, and exhausting, all at the same time.

2/2 Can we not be ugly to each other about if we liked it or didn’t like it? 🥴 I feel like it’s a tall order with the amount of drama that gets started (i.e. “Ascended Astarion fans are abuse apologists” and other such shenanigans) but there’s nothing wrong with me hoping we’re all chill, right?

ScrapSovereign @scrapsovereign.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Yes, this is me, on my author account, speaking my two cents on any discourse that comes up tomorrow 9/29 when the Astarion book releases. 1/2 Tl;dr- I’m fine with people having opinions but please don’t tag the author or Neil in a negative review, tag your posts #astarionbook or #astarionnovel

*emerges from my space dumpster* Which one of you is taking VP shots of Shadowheart wearing gothic lolita? Shads is a Hot-Topic shopping, fishnet arm glove under a stack of leather cuff and kandi mall goth, y’all. Give her some chunky platform combat boots, JNCO jeans, and a Kuromi baby tee.

I hear you. I’ve noticed I’m happier and more productive when I stay off this account/avoid tumblr 😭 Which is sad because this fan space used to be a refuge for me 🥴🙃

Hey there, Scraps here- I’m still alive! just spending more time in my author socials making unhinged content and re-writing part two of my Isekai fic to be a completely different story. For example, today I combined parts of chapter 23 and 24 together and WHEW its so much spicier 🥵

I feel you, I’ve been on the other end when I get a call from a patient and they’re like “WHY ARENT MY RESULTS IN” and I found out they did just this- left an unlabeled cup of urine at the lab…and most places I’ve worked toss unlabeled specimens… 🙃

I saw this render by @uncannyvally.bsky.social months ago and it’s immediately what I thought of when I read your post (It also reminded me of chaus_cobolorum’s characterization of Astarion in A Striking Resemblance)

So it’s #PornfolioDay? 🤭 I love to draw smut of Astarion with my OC Leira! And just lots of hot monster men in general.❤️ #PornfolioDay #Fanart #bg3 #PortfolioDay #nsfw #monsterfucker

Astarion as a shark merman (Sharkstarion), leaning on top of my tav Leira as she lays on a sea rock, and he fucks her with both of his dual claspers. He glares back over his shoulder at the viewer, possessive over his lover.

My tav Leira, in the water with Astarion (Sharkstarion). She is giving him a blowjob on one of his cocks, while stroking the other with her hand. Astarion is leaning back against a dock, and one of his hands is gently holding her hair.

Astarion as a shark merman (Sharkstarion) taking tav Leira on the beach. One of his claspers is inside her, while the other remains outside of her. Both of them are blissed out, and Leira is covered in bite marks and scratch marks.

Normal Astarion, and tav Leira in her regular tiefling form (in the bg3 universe). Astarion is holding her up against a tree, making love to her, while the tip Leira’s tail is taking Astarion anally.

But honestly that’s what living in my body is like? Two fire signs who enable each other and THE MOST chaotic air sign to amplify it… And then my soft piscean venus mumbles, “Hey guys, have you thought about crying in your car to The Story of Escaflowne by Yoko Kanno on your way to work?”
