We developed a quick and dirty playtest page for our #pathofexile2 inspired #ttrpg - PATH OF REVENGE. The idea is: the Skill Tree IS your Quest Path. There is still a lot to figure out, but this will help the playtest enormously - and save tons of paper!

Working on some ideas about a POE ttrpg with a twist: the map IS the skill tree, and as you complete quests, you discover how you unlocked the passive and/or active skill. The skill IS the quest spark AND the reward. We will give it a thought… what are yours? #ttrpg #pathofexile #gamedesign

What about a #trrpg that recreates the atmosphere of POE? I know there are some, but we wonder if there's some ruleset that breaks the usual OSR/D&D clone and gives you elegant but intriguing skill trees…
