I live in the Netherlands and I pay US$171.45 per month for full coverage (60+ & including dental). My deductible is $407.46 per year if I use it. I never see a bill (except for above) and cannot imagine ever returning to the wretched US system. Keep fighting the good fight Bernie 💙

When we hear about how these changes will hasten the demise of Social Security, our first response should be "raise the cap on the wealthy so that they pay the same percentage as every one else!" Why should those of us affected by WEP accept less than we paid in, under any circumstance?

Because of our advocacy, the House passed the Social Security Fairness Act to repeal the Government Pension Offset (GPO) and Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP), which unfairly penalize public employees. Now it's onto the Senate. Tell your Senators to pass this bill ASAP.
