Cool that they made an Action Man but he kind of looks like a juiced up John Warden

At least in alt mode, I think MP-28 still reigns supreme. Bot mode, maybe not so much. Damn shame about the yellow paint they were using in 2016/7 though

It feels great to me. Doesn't feel like a MP, but it is solid and chunky overall. I can imagine the knees being loose on some copies but there is a screw right there that could possibly be tightened without much effort

Windcharger's just a funny looking little guy, isn't he?

I'm fighting the war against turn based games on the side of turn based games. Even Trails is a (shitty) hybrid system now! Ys is right there from the same developer if someone wants action combat 😬

Saw a thing going around that struck my fancy. This one is "mecha only but without Transformers" which, in hindsight, I probably should have excluded Gundam from too since it took up so much of it. Ah well. Btw, Fumoffu is standing in for FMP as a whole

Ever seen the instructions with the Chinese releases? Same thing but printed on much nicer, glossy stock and they're way easier to parse with higher contrast. Improving the paper they're printed on goes a long way. I guess we haven't earned that extra $0.02 of paper per item 🤷

Scotty P @scottyp.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I've been saying for years that if we're gonna have to suffer through G1 re-done forever, the least we can ask for is some Armada trash mobs. I hope this is the start of a trend 🤞

It really was easier to just kill him offscreen without explaining it than to ever deal with the reality that the Autobots had basically Magneto on their side

Scotty P @scottyp.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I very much appreciate it when 3P character bios aren't taken seriously at all, even if the legally distinct names make me feel like I'm having a stroke

Back of the box of Fans Toys FT-63 Turbo, an unlicensed version of Transformers Windcharger, that reads "Turbo might seem like another forgettable
throwaway Motobot. He never got an arc
episode. What minimal screen time he got he shared
with derpy yellow beetles or brawny military
vehicles. But Turbo's '84 figure was the first
converting robot this bio writer owned. So yeah, he's
awesome. Fight me.

First off, in blazing red muscle car mode he's the
fastest Motobot on the ground. Zero to sixty almost
instantly. And his power? Terrifying. His arms are a
massive electromagnet strong enough to lift 10 tons
irom hundreds of feet away. His enemies are made
of metal. Think about that. He'll rip Hereticons apart.
Plus, he's a freakin' hero. Whose rear end did he pull
out of that chasm? Yep. That derpy yellow beetle
everyone loves.

They did Turbo dirty. They ignored possibly the
greatest Motobot of all time, then killed him
unceremoniously offscreen. Treated him like scrap.
In a feature-length movie where he could have been
the hero. Screw Hoodlum! Turbo should have had
the touch!"

The sound design in the theatre was the most striking part. Tbh, some of the cgi probably looks a lot better on a *smaller* screen
