Now I could say that there is a bit of humor with people complaining that Minecraft for Switch 2 is only free for digital owners and they want it free as well for physical which would effectively make it a Game Key Card I could say that But I shan’t

New feature! Decided to interrogate my strong negative reaction to the Ocarina of Time remake by reflecting on Zelda’s art direction history, AI-driven fear, and of course the passage of time. Always fun when you find the capacity to be wrong!

At this point, if you haven't seen the music video for Moth GF by James Gameboy, it says more about the listener than it does the song. With no news coverage and negligible playlist presence, it's easy to claim ignorance. youtu.be/St6eiwKe6Hw?...

Yeah its the same concept, thought I believe that only worked in Japan with their transit cards

ScottyJayMan @scottyjayman.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yeah maybe conspiratorial but as we know from the Meta hearings companies do acknowledge shit like this so wouldn’t put it past them

000

ScottyJayMan @scottyjayman.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

While acknowledging the obvious gross push to an only digital dystopian future, can I ask what practical purpose this serves? If a card has tap to go, then it can also be used with a mobile wallet like Apple Pay, which you can use via a QR code to buy from the PS5 console already. Just seems stupid.
