I went to high school where this took place in the 00s...not at Boise High, but at the much more conservative Mountain View. I tried to start a GSA but we couldn't get a faculty advisor - the most liberal teacher I knew told me it would be too dangerous for her. Idaho is fucked. 😥

SSI payments are already way below what any adult needs to survive in the United States; people can only survive on it without being homeless if they're in public housing or have friends/family to rely on for housing.
