It really is amazing what the Beavs are doing and the Cougs aren’t. Both first time head coaches and they are light years apart. Not to mention Cougs are paying their roster 3M more. Shephard took over for a program in way worse shape than Moore did.

I think it is more than that. Yes Pinnick might be the worst passer and decision maker I can remember as a Coug QB, but I think Moore has absolutely no idea how to be a HC.

If the Cougs go 1-11 which it looks like they will especially if Pinnick continues to play, one could argue they are worse than Wulf’s teams. Mostly because the competition was so much better in the old Pac12.

I fear being relegated to the Big Sky in the next round of realignment in 2030, if we don’t keep up with OSU & BSU. Really there are 3 programs that should always be at the top of new Pac12, OSU, BSU and WSU. Right now though the on field performance is solely imo on the current coaching staff on O.
