In 2024, Trump got 49.8% of the popular vote, winning by 1.5%. In the new Time interview he claimed he won 86% of the popular vote. And the interviewer just moved on. I get that they were letting him run his mouth and sound insane, but people need to tell him he's wrong to his stupid orange face.

Tafoya complains that Minnesota has gone so far left—we’ve been a blue state for decades. The last Republican president to win MN was Nixon in 72. We were the ONLY state Reagan didn’t win for his second term. Sadly, it’s more accurate to say MN has moved to the right, like the whole fucked-up world.

I hope protestors will gather on Memorial Circle to block construction work on Trump's deranged military outpost/arch. I'm also hoping that protestors will form a human chain around the Kennedy Center to block any attempted demolition. Hey, contractors, just say no! It's a word Trump needs to hear.

I can't remember all the details, but when I copyedited The High Country, I had reason to believe it was La'an. But then another project I was working on had it as La'An. So I called in the big guns and @jvancitters.bsky.social and Kirsten Beyer confirmed La'An was the correct style. So say we all.
