My worst dm trait is that i see them planning and think, how can i add things to disrupt their plans. I’ve eased off on doing this in recent years… i noticed after a while the planning stopped, cause why would you plan if the dm was just going to sabotage it anyways.

Anybody played #nimble5e? I’ve been playing with my teen group for about 8 months now and I’d love to hear your experiences. Compared to #5e it’s a much more tactical game - I love not rolling to hit 🎲, the classes are all distinct, it’s super flexible. Very impressive design. #ttrpg #dnd #d&d

With a clearly trapped magical object, the trick is to provide incentive for the players to use it anyways. Ie. You’re at the highest point of the fort, the horde of zombies are coming, there’s nowhere to go… might as well blow that horn right? #ttrpg #osr #dolmenwood #dnd

I trialled a new encounter table for Feast of Cats last night and I think it might need some tweaking… turns out 3d6 zombies is actually a lot of zombies. Thankfully small corridors and a good stock of oil flasks meant the party survived with only a broken arm. #osr #dolmenwood #dnd
