I switched a bunch of stuff I was running in the #homelab from k3s to plain old docker-compose, and dropped from 20% idle CPU usage to < 4%. CPU now spending about 80% of of its time in C7! I don't _need_ k8s for this stuff, and power is expensive, so ....

"look up and stay present" .. by "collaborating with visual Meta AI prompts" projected between your eyes and the folks _in the real world you are notionally trying to stay present with_. I don't understand if they are trying to redefine what 'present' means or they are just too deep in this rubbish

Just realised my daily driver helix-editor.com has added filterable columns to it's symbol/file/everything picker in `main` - super useful! The set of things I feel like you need a JetBrains product for grows ever smaller.

I installed Arch on my ancient Surface Pro 4! With Sway, tmux and Helix it is a usable, snappy, focussed dev env once again. With Windows it was bloated and awful.
