It was so nice to get to you again @simplyallegra.bsky.social! I’m so happy you liked the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea poster I got from the theater I work at.

Finished Fairy Tail for the first time (binged it in two months) and I think it’s finally replaced Naruto as my favorite for that kind of anime. I absolutely love the cast of characters (Lucy now being my favorite shonen protagonist) and the relationship they all have with each other. #FairyTail

Just passed a huge milestone today. I sent my first email to a talent agency. It’s one of my dream ones too. I’m honestly super nervous yet also feel a huge relief pushing myself to finally just take the plunge. Wish me luck.

Just watched NASA’s Crew-11 heading back home from space! Glad they touched down safely and wishing for the best for the crew member with the medical issue.

I don’t have a lot to show off for 2025. It was a very rough year for me. But it also feels transitional. I took a lot more in-person classes, met so many friends, conquered stage fright doing an open audition, and got opportunities I’m so humbled to have even be considered for.

Finished season 2 of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, and I really hope we see Sam in future Tomb Raider games even if just a small supporting role. Always wished she was in Rise and Shadow, and I absolutely adored her character and her relationship with Lara in the show. #TombRaider #samlara

Thank you for everyone who has replied and reached out. I’m still really early in planning this so can’t put out a commission yet, but thank you for giving me places to look when I am ready for that step!

I was thinking of going into streaming/Vtubing. Does anyone have recommendations for equipment and places or people to go to for models, art design, rigging, and things like that? I’d really appreciate it.

Hey voice actors! Be very careful with this account. The messages read like it is AI and they eventually wanting me to join a different site and send them personal info. Looking it up, other social media accounts of Margery Simkin were hacked as well and used for scams.

Today was a gauntlet of emotions for my auditions. Started super stressed out and overthinking them, and ended with having so much fun that I don’t even mind if I don’t actually get cast since I at least got to play for a couple hours. Need to remember to ignore the worries.

Just giving everyone an update. My grandma had her surgery a few days ago and got released from the hospital today. Everything went well. They want her back in a couple weeks to run more tests and check on her. Thank you all again for all the good wishes. I truly appreciate it.

Just bought tickets to go to Anime Expo next weekend! Looking forward to hopefully seeing a lot of friends there, enjoy the art, guests, and panels, and take a chance at being selected to audition for Bang Zoom. If anyone is going Friday or Saturday please let me know!

Mostly the former kind, where they are “Hey we saw your profile and want to work with you” but is worded really weird and comes from a suspicious account, one where I’m the BCC with a big name attached to it as the main person emailed, and one that works with AI. No Game Show Host in this batch.

Scott Fitzpatrick @scottfitzpatrickvo.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

I’ve gotten more of those scam voice actor emails these past few weeks than I have the entire rest of my voice acting career combined. If getting one of them means you made it as a voice actor, I wonder what getting this many means.

Thank you so much @soundonstudio.bsky.social @brennalarsen.bsky.social for an illuminating class tonight! I learned how to get into sad or dark or vulnerable parts of myself so much more naturally and feel more authentic. And just as important how to healthily get out of those places when done.

If Trump is not impeached and removed from office for what he just did, this will further prove that we are in a dictatorship in all but name. He’s unambiguously going against the Constitution and the other two branches of government. Sadly we all know nothing will be done.

Hey everyone, I’d appreciate it if everyone kept my grandma in their thoughts, hearts, or prayers. Recently she was diagnosed with breast cancer that spread to her armpit, and will need surgery to try to remove it. Hopefully she’ll be approved to have it within a month.

hits me so hard, especially since you can have both be played by nonbinary actors adding to the authenticity of it. Thank you @trickweekes.bsky.social @erikaishii.bsky.social Jin Maley and everyone else at @bioware.bsky.social for having this be in the game. It really helped me with my own journey.

Scott Fitzpatrick @scottfitzpatrickvo.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

Playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard again, and I’m so thankful that it not only lets us play as a non-binary protagonist but they actually talk about it, like the mirror scene or to various NPCs about embracing yourself and of course the ones with Taash helping them with their journey

I don’t plan to quit. It’s really fun and this is the best community I’ve ever been a part of. I’m glad to have tried since I got to meet you all. I just want to know if there’s something wrong with me that I need to work on. Or if this is normal and I’m being too hard on myself.

Hey everyone, Am I good at voice acting? I’ve been feeling really down about myself with this the past few weeks. I’ve been in a drought for a year now, with any new roles I did book never starting or getting dropped due to things like AI. I feel trapped and worthless.

I’m so sorry you’re having people do these awful things to you and the others. I wanted to say thank you again for all your work. I absolutely love Bellara both as a character but also how much she is like me so I related to her and her journey. Even more when you said we could see her as Ace.

It really is a shame the fandom got filled with people like that. I have a lot of wonderful memories with the fandom in earlier days, including some that helped me discover parts of myself, so to see that be tarnished to the point that the devs don’t want to talk about the series is heartbreaking.

020

Scott Fitzpatrick @scottfitzpatrickvo.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

If I may ask, is there a certain reason you’re doing this? I know you want to move as soon as possible, but every day you talk about how miserable this grind is. Is something wrong requiring you to work this hard and if so do you need help?

*open my email and see someone directly reaching out to me for voice acting* *get excited and reply I’m interested* *they respond almost immediately with a couple weird replies* *look into it and learn it is one of the TransPerfect scam emails* *get sad* Be careful everyone.

Question for any voice actors who live in the DFW area: How much should I have saved up to live there for a year? I was curious how much of a cushion I need to save up in case I can’t get any voice work there. Will try to get a day job too but asking for worst case scenario.

This decision will probably kill the movie theater industry, costing tens of thousands of Americans including me their jobs. They’re expensive because of how much movies cost to make, so doubling the cost for every Hollywood movie that is even partly made outside the US is going to doom them.

It was so much fun seeing Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith in theaters! It’s the first midnight release I ever went to when it first released, and seeing it again on the big screen in a crowded theater was really special and brought back many memories! #StarWars #RevengeOfTheSith

Yay! I absolutely love the Boruto anime and can’t wait to see it continue with finishing Next Generations and maybe beginning Two Blue Vortex. Also crossing my fingers to even get a chance to audition for it since the Naruto franchise means so much to me, but mainly just excited for more!

The fact the movie pauses and the theater lights turn on almost immediately after this shows that this wasn’t the first time these people disrupted the movie. Someone told the staff earlier, who when they went in everyone was behaving, but they were keeping an eye on them in case it happened again.
