So in major pain and pissing pure blood, I called my surgeon’s answering service at 2am. Thirty minutes later one of my surgeon’s residents found me in the waiting room and got me into a room right away. I shouldn’t have had to do that. 🤦‍♂️ Our healthcare is “free”, but it’s far from good.

4 days after having a kidney removed due to cancer, I went to St B because my urine was the colour of cola. I was told there would be an 18 hour wait! They only decided to take a urine sample after I raised hell. Then I was told that I wasn’t in danger of dying so I had to keep waiting.
