#OTD Happy 110th Birthday to Jan Murray (born Murray Janofsky, 1916- 2006). Ubiquitous comedian, actor, and television presenter. His Wikipedia entry should prioritize “game show panelist”, or at least HOLLYWOOD SQUARES stalwart (IMDB tallies nearly 400 appearances across all versions of the show).

Stay tuned...coming up, in honor of the living legend who was the only major star to make a memorable impact in all 3 1966 debut tv shows the shaped my childhood and adolescence. One show (and the legend's major role) hooked me at age 5, the others in 1969/70 reruns & syndication, all 3 still rock.
