The newest additions in this video include: slash effects, weak point targeting, accurate damage numbers linked to both player and enemy health bars, player stamina use also linked to the player HUD, and both player death and enemy death animations.

and on an unrelated note, these label sheets are super easy to print at home on almost any printer. These labels can easily be applied to almost any surface, say if you see something out and about and want to put a label on it for some unknown reason. Just some fun, purely coincidental facts 🙂

The background textures are collaged from public domain 1700s eye medical book. The art of dissections in this book also inspired the form of the figure’s head (ew gross!). Playing with different illustration styles in the same piece, inspired by the collage aesthetic of the interior artwork by GMB.

You overestimate my sense of strategic planning haha 😆 more of a “let’s see what comes of this” sort of plan. Could potentially open a few different doors. We’ll find out 🤷 More than anything I just want more people to read it. And it’s been fun just reformatting it just as a technical exercise.

Definitely looking into reprinting it still if i can! I might have something developing but can’t share details yet. There’s evidence from other small publishers that comic released freely online still sell well physically, and in some cases even sell better! So who knows!

Although this doesn't earn revenue directly the way that selling physical copies would, I would rather people just be able to read it somehow. The original book took me 4 years to write and draw, originally conceived way back in 2014. And maybe this re-release will bring new hype to it!

Thanks! This is kind of a unique scenario where the whole story is long done. It was originally a one-off graphic novel originally published in 2018. It has been out of print for a few years and so far too expensive for me to reprint as an indie so I decide to reformat and release it on Webtoon.

4/4🧵 In some ways, it's the most infuriating artistic medium I've ever tried 😭 but in other ways, it also feel like learning magic ✨🙌✨ Animations roughs were made with a combination of 3D modelling, rotoscoping, and collaging hand drawn animation. All designed and composed by me from scratch.
