Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 13/04/2026I do fractional CTO work. I specialize in platform strategy, eng. program design (people and process), AI-enablement, and engineering crisis management. When I'm not in a meeting or handling a client request, I use AI-native methods to build my own commercial portfolio. puzzsaw.com craftroom.com 220

Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 13/03/2026Why are bots obsessed with poetic sentence fragments as a writing device? Genuine question. Real pattern. Worth unpacking. 010

Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 18/02/2026Google Workspace has come sooooo far in the last 2 years. At this point, I see no use for Slack in a Google organization. There a very few small features that I miss. I still struggle to replace Notion in my standard stack. Confluence is 1000x better than I remember, but it's not quite the same. 010
Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 17/02/2026Came here to say the same thing. "Hello, I'm new here, but can I please have read/write access to everything?" "No." "Okay, gtfo." 020
Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 23/01/2026Surely I'm not the first to use the word "LLMerence" to describe that phase where one believes Claude Code can solve any problem better than the best engineering team in history. I see a lot of people going through it right now. AI tools are great—sustainable systems still need humans for now. 000

Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 25/11/2025sama. I caught the wave this time. About 2 weeks in, I'm a mostly functional reader, a partly functional writer, and can get my meaning across in conversation if I can gesture a lot. What's magical is that anyone could do the same thing. If it was common, we'd have a universal pidgin! You should! 110

Scott Blomquist @scott.blomqui.st · 10/12/2024I'm intensely suspicious that each SaaS vendor charging an additional $10-$20 per user per month for access to their LLM assistant is not a scalable pricing model.
