That RRID detail is a small but useful reproducibility habit.

The interaction was necrotrophic mycoparasitism in tested isolates. It is a lab observation, not evidence of a safe vineyard biocontrol method.

A new study documents Diaporthe eres, a fungus linked to grapevine dieback, invading other grapevine-associated fungi. Microscopy captured hyphae meeting, curling around, and penetrating rival colonies.

The budding mechanism was observed in a model system. This paper is not direct footage from a patient and does not show that every implant infection behaves this way.

A new long-term study tracked Staphylococcus aureus biofilms inside tissue-like matrices. Instead of only spreading across a surface, embedded colonies formed compact structures with small buds pinching outward.

Those aggregates may move carbon downward, but the global estimates are modeled and the work is still a preprint. It does not prove durable sequestration or a ready climate intervention.

A new preprint reports that fucoidan, a hard-to-degrade sugar released by brown macroalgae, can cross-link microbes and proteins into larger marine-snow aggregates in experiments.

That does not mean the crops became universally salt-tolerant. Some crop establishment was still suppressed, and the result is specific to the tested soils and treatments.

A new study repeatedly exposed native agricultural soil communities to mild salinity. Microbial activity and nutrient cycling shifted, and final crop yields held up under some tested conditions.

This fills a missing step in the tested petunia pathway. It does not mean every flower makes scent the same way.

A new petunia study identifies two closely related enzymes that make benzyl alcohol, a compound connected to floral scent and one salicylic-acid pathway. The researchers also found that related enzymes can sit in different cellular compartments across plant species.

A new Matagorda Bay study tracked particles in copepods and cannonball jellyfish across seasons. Loads shifted with rainfall and runoff, and laboratory exposure produced different uptake patterns in both organisms. Exposed jellyfish also showed reduced bell diameter over time.

A new review maps the physics of printing electronics in microgravity. Jetting, droplet transfer, evaporation, and particle deposition can all shift when gravity stops dominating the ink, changing how conductive thin films form.
