just a funny coincidence but the 2 amphorean demigods (based on greek mythology) show an interest in mechatrons (giant robots) in the greek lostbelt, we find out that the greek gods are actually terminals of... giant robots from outer space

in fgo you cap an SSR (5*) at lv90, with 15x holy grail needed to get to 120 (+ servant coins) obviously it follows that hsr doesn't have access to coins, so trailblazer can't breach the level cap

gilgamesh states that he wants to timeout ishtar and slap a sticky note on her. in babylonia, caster gilgamesh puts ishtar in timeout with the useless goddess clay tablet

this is ereshkigal's dialogue line, word for word. the exact imagery is with the deer pulling at the hem of her skirt when she uses a skill

remember when i said that ereshkigal and castorice were very similar? well it turns out that ereshkigal had her own livestream in fate/grand carnival. guess who got her own livestream in this collab?

master thread for all the references ive found in the #hsr x ubw collab. a lot of these ive found make more sense when youve played fgo, or at the bare minimum watched absolute demonic front: babylonia each reference will be its own comment there WILL be unavoidable spoilers

similarity 3: sacrifice and duty ereshkigal is literally a slave to duty. the interpretation of ishtar's descent in to the underworld in fgo is that ishtar invaded to save eresh from that duty likewise, castorice sealed herself in the underworld as part of her duty to amphoreus bsky text limit :(

similarity 2: actually ereshkigal literally carrying the team to completion at the end of absolute demonic front babylonia. remember that she sacrificed herself to suppress tiamat in the final battle it may not be exactly the same context in the collab, but castorice is carrying the team here. tbd

exhibit a, similarity 1: this is ereshkigal's bond 10 craft essence in fgo - blooming flowers in kur if you recall in amphoreus, when castorice reunites with polyxia in the underworld, we find out that the purpose of the realm is a place of solace where the dead can rest in peace among the flowers

alright first of all lets do the whole spoiler disclaimer for fgo babylonia. if youve never played fgo you can watch the anime myanimelist.net/anime/38084/... the plot of this collab appears to be referencing character similarities between CASTORICE and ERESHKIGAL

hi #fgo player here. this post is about the fate x #hsr trailer that just dropped. some of you may have discovered a meme with castorice pulling the characters in a wheelbarrow through the underworld the trailer also makes references to "queen of heaven" so what gives?

rin from the new hsr x fate collab using maanna, which is ishtar's bow from fgo. this is referring to how ishtar is a pseudo servant summoned using rin as the vessel

the infamous castorice wheelbarrow scene. yes this is a real animated scene in the trailer https://youtu.be/EX3oBRfMjdA?t=130

I've only recently started this part of F/GO, but supposedly it's possible to validate the use of forces beyond what humans are meant to handle through Ordeal Calls. Theoretically, that means HSR characters could one day prove that they can wield magic. Mixing worlds produces many interesting paths.

The Holy Grail itself is also what's known in Fate as the "Third Magic," materialization of the soul, one type of true magic. Generally, reaching magic corresponds to reaching something called the Root, which also triggers the Counter Force. Just know that it's considered a crime against humanity.

On a more serious note, Oti pulling a Holy Grail into #HSR could've turned out to be a world-ending event. The Counter Force typically doesn't get involved unless there's a real threat determined by the collective unconscious of humanity (see how the world itself summoned Servants in F/GO).

The #HSRxFSN event assumes players know about Fate, so they don't bother explaining. For example, Archer calls himself a "Counter Guardian," which means that he's an agent of the Counter Force. In short, it's the "equal and opposite reaction" by the world to protect itself from extinction.
